LaLL is for making a set of files and applications. You can create, for example, a set like "Business" or "Programming A", and thereby launch many apps and files at once. (You can create these kind of things via AppleScript, but LaLL is much easier than AppleScript.) Also, LaLL can quit un-needed applications, so through LaLL, you can conveniently change the whole environment.
